Another markable place in Ivano-Frankivsk is the Greek Catholic Church of St.Resurection. It was being repaired at the time I was visiting it but it doesn’t make my experience worse.
This is how the church looks from the street.

And this is how the church looks from inside. The image was merged from 9 images. In the beginning I wanted to create it as HDR panorama but then decided to keep it as a merge of single-shot images.

This post is to show the Armenian church in Ivano-Frankivsk. It is located not far from the town hall.
Armenian Church (folk name – blue church) is an architectural monument of Ivano-Frankivsk. Nowadays it is Pokrovsky cathedral of the Ukrainian Autocephalous Orthodox Church.

Finally, I have found some time to post a little about our vacation trip to the western Ukraine. The first city we visited was Ivano-Frankivsk.
Ivano-Frankivsk is a historic city located in the western Ukraine. It is the administrative centre of the Ivano-Frankivsk Oblast (province).
We have been there only a few hours waiting for a bus going to the west, to Carpathians. As usually the new cities are very interesting and we have tried to see the main places.
First, I want to post a 3D map (bird-eye-view map) of the central site. It was placed on the bigboard just near the train station.

Thanking to this map we knew where to go. A few photos are here.

This is the camp we had in the forest. I made some step away from it to make a picture from a distance. You may see the lights of the party behind the trees.

This photo is a panorama made of 2 images of the night sky and the river. The resulting photo is a complicated layers merge and it is a bit noisy when viewing 100%.
It was made using Samyang 16mm f/2.0 ED AS UMC CS lens (ISO1600, f/2, 10sec)
