This post was made after two events: moving to another office in the center of Kharkiv and purchasing of the new lens Samyang 16mm f/2.0 ED AS UMC CS.
Our office has 10 floors and, as other buildings in the center not very high, it is possible to see whole Kharkiv. The only thing that is not good – you cannot open windows and therefore flares appear in a frame.
Here are a few photos made upon sunset.

This week we were visiting my sister in Kiev. She lives in the new 25-floor building on the left side of the city. I could not miss this and made a few photographs from the 25th floor.
This is the view on factories. The image was captured with exposure time of 25 sec.

I have a clivia plant that I bought about 5 years ago. It was blooming every year giving sometimes even 2 bunch of flowers. But then it stopped and this is about 2 years I cannot make it bloom again..
This year it made us happy and gave a bunch of 5 flowers. Here is a photo of them made using PORST 50mm f/1.2.
My grandfather, Vitaliy Shymko, was an artist. He died in 1988. And I’m searching for his works through his friends, relatives, different offices where they can be stored now. There are not much left in the family. Being at my home town I found more paintings by my grandfather, Vitaliy Shymko. They are not in good condition but they are still good memory of the grandfather.
This painting was never finished but supposed to be an icon for the local church. Hope once I will finish this instead of my grandfather..
