This summer we were able to perform a trip to Spain. As usual I do not have time to work on my photos. This is almost a month as we are back and I’m just starting to open the photos.
This post will be to show the first processed photo and it is about the main symbol of modern Barcelona – Sagrada Família (Basílica i Temple Expiatori de la Sagrada Família). This temple is still under construction and is planned to be completed only on 2026 (on the 100-th years anniversary of its architect, Antoni Gaudí, death). Its construction was started in 1882 and was directed by Gaudi till his death in 1926.
The main thing in whole this building is nature-oriented design. All here replicates some natural things: columns are tree trunks, windows are gaps among leaves, etc. And when you see this in live it is really amazing – the goal is achieved! You start to believe that you are in a forest.
Here is the first photo I just processed. This is the interior view. The photo was made as HDR image.
This place is a central place of the town where we lived – Huben. As usual, in western cities the central place is a place where the church is. The churches in this area have similar appearance and are the tallest buildings in the town (usually).
Another markable place in Ivano-Frankivsk is the Greek Catholic Church of St.Resurection. It was being repaired at the time I was visiting it but it doesn’t make my experience worse.
This is how the church looks from the street.

And this is how the church looks from inside. The image was merged from 9 images. In the beginning I wanted to create it as HDR panorama but then decided to keep it as a merge of single-shot images.
Church of Our Lady before Týn (Kostel Matky Boží před Týnem) – is the main church of the Old Town of Prague on the Old Town Square. The construction of this church in its present look was started in 14th century and fully completed in the beginning of the 16th century. The church is built in Gothic style. The height of the towers is 80 meters.
The image is a single-shot image with long exposure adjusted in Photoshop.
